Setting up Twitch Channel Points with Crowd Control
From the Crowd Control Desktop app, find the “Coin Settings” tab on the left side and set the drop down to “Enabled”.
“Starting” a new CC session automatically creates the custom CC rewards, so nothing else is needed.
Crowd Control Pro
Subscribing to Crowd Control Pro opens up a few more options for points conversions.
This can be changed from the Crowd Control desktop app, under Coins Settings.
Some things to note
- Editing the custom rewards colors, name, will cause the conversion to fail.
- The conversion of points to coins is locked in and cannot be changed from Twitch.
- Crowd Control Pro, does unlock newer conversion from the Desktop App.
- The rewards may not show up if you have too many Custom Rewards! (about 50)
- Users are only able to redeem each type of channel point rewards up to 10 times per Crowd Control session.
- Channel points cannot be used while using Crowd Control with a supported charity.
