Crowd Control - Client Settings

Twitch Settings

Our Twitch bot, WarpWorldBot

The bot messages will all come from the account “WarpWorldBot”, so it might be a good idea to VIP or MOD them in-case you have follower only mode on. This will also help the bot stick out more if you have a large chat and get around any rate limiting you might have.

If you’re not seeing the messages come in and these features are enabled, you may want to make sure you haven’t banned the bot in the past.

!cc command

By default when you install Crowd Control and have an active session (you click START), we will automatically watch your Twitch channel with our bot for any users that type the “!cc” command in chat. This will allow us to respond with a message on how Crowd Control works, and how a user may interact with it. If you wish for this feature to be disabled, just uncheck the box under the settings in the app and click Save.

Additionally, if you have your own message or command setup for CC, we do not have a way for you to change the command or message at this time. Feel free to request this feature on our side, and let us know!

Announce Coins purchases

The other bot related feature will announce in your channel anytime a viewer exchanges their bits for coins in the extension. This allows you to thank the viewer and have an idea of how many transactions are happening on your channel. Messages will only appear if at least 100 bits has been exchanged. If you wish to disable this feature, you just need to uncheck it, and click Save.

Leaderboard

Leaderboards can now be shown in the extension! This will allow viewers to see the top 10 users in a few different ways. If you choose to enable this, you can also choose if we show coins spent and/or how many effects have been used per top user. These settings are enabled by default. Note: Leaderboards are currently disabled when charities are active.

Adjust coin amounts

If you’re reading this guide to learn how to be able to adjust your coin amounts in Crowd Control, check out our Crowd Control Pro service for more info.

Channel Points setup

If you’re trying to adjust the amount of channel points users need to redeem to receive Crowd Control coins, you’ll want to read the Crowd Control Channel Points guide.

NOTE: Having Channel Points enabled will automatically make the rewards appear when you start a session. Modifying the cost or redemption limits will cause the rewards to fail when your users redeem them.

Support

All of the above settings are disabled during a charity stream. Messages from the bot will not be active while you are raising money for a charity and you are encouraged to setup your own !cc type command during these streams.

If you have any questions or need help with this setup, please head over to our forum or discord for additional support!
