The Crowd Control mod for Terraria allows your viewers on Twitch.tv to interact with your game of Terraria live!
Here will be explain how to setup Terraria on PC with Crowd Control!
Terraria CC relies on tModLoader to function. The easiest way to set it up is to run it straight from Steam, but they also support GOG and other manual setup methods. Check out their site for more info https://github.com/tModLoader/tModLoader/wiki/tModLoader-guide-for-players
Once you have tMod installed, click on
Mod Browser and search for CrowdControl!
You’re able to install it right there, it automatically should be enabled as well!
If you followed the steps above correctly when you launch the TMod application and click on
- You should then see the mod in your list, just make sure it’s enabled. It should look like below.
- Now that the mod is enabled, go to your Crowd Control desktop software and hit
- You should see an in-game message when the game is connected.
Crowd Control Mod Settings
Once in game, you may want to adjust some settings, and there are plenty to adjust!
For multi-player games each of these settings are specific to the player and only that player. For instance if one player has “Allow Time-Changing Effects During Bosses” enabled, then their chat could change the time. This setting is however disabled by default.
Crowd Control tMod Server!
Thanks to tMod, you can also setup our CC mod on a server, allowing multiplayer! Take a look at the setup here: https://github.com/tModLoader/tModLoader/wiki/Starting-a-modded-server
We won’t be able to fully support server setup, but if you have any questions, check out our discord and we can try to point you in the right direction.
For servers you’ll need the tMod file which can be found at https://github.com/MrG-bit/TerrariaCrowdControlMod/releases!
We recommend Digital Ocean for setting up your own server and you can use our referral code https://m.do.co/c/d7ca3af66320 to get started with $100 worth of free credit!
