FXPAK\SD2SNES Service not working

SD2SNES was working fine last night with the crowd control app. Now the status won’t change from ‘Stopped’. No changes to setup what so ever.

Anyone else experience this and what can I do to fix it?

This sometimes happens to users after a client update. If restating the computer doesn’t work trying installing the client again.

Additionally you can try and select the service manually under your windows services and starting it there. It should be called Crowd Control USB2SNES or something similar. Press windows + R and type services to bring them up.

I’ve reinstalled the app and restarted my computer. When running the service from windows I get this error:

I’m not sure if this helps at all but I noticed this message at the bottom of the app. Not sure if that’s related or not.

Alright. I think I discovered the issue but it will require a client update.

That message is not an error. Any error you see in the client will specifically be behind a red banner.

Client update is now out. Should be working on 5.3.7.
