Bottle is sometimes necessary for progression so losing a bottle may cause an unbeatable seed (though highly unlikely) For example, Bottle kid has a glove (you need at least one bottle to get the item) and the seed has no more bottles (on high difficult) or the rest of the bottles are locked behind the glove.
