I found out about this site because I was searching for a way to have a command for TTS in my twitch chat. It works fine on OBS on PC, but when I try it on my iPhone using streamlabs, I can’t hear the voice reading the message that shows up on the display. How can I solve the problem? Thanks
Are you saying when you’re streaming from StreamLabs on iOS and using their browser overlay on the phone?
Yes, I’m streaming from StreamLabs app on iOS and I used this link (REMOVED-LINK) for the custom URL. It works on OBS from PC but on iPhone I can’t hear the voice reading. (sorry for my bad English, I’m Italian)
Looking into this. iOS by default will not play any text-to-speech without the user first interacting with the page or presenting the user with that choice. Sadly the StreamLabs iOS app does not allow you to interact with the browser source either.
We are trying to find a work around and will let you know shortly.
Yeah, sadly at this time we’re unable to offer this with the StreamLabs application on iOS.
If StreamLabs implements a way for you to interact with the Browser Source on their iOS app, then you would be able to accept the media request. However because they do not, there is not much we can do.
